Pointing out our errors is not a condemnation. It does not matter how long we have held an error as truth, it can never become truth. All we need is to follow the example of King Josiah and replace the errors with truth. If you believe an error, you will definitely reject the truth because truth will become offensive to you. The reason the Jews rejected Jesus was because they believed the error and the truth became offensive to them.
Learn the difference between errors and truth. Correct the errors if you were taught them as the truth. Malachi 2:7, Ezekiel 44:23.
