During creation, God created Man. This man was not a flesh but a soul with spirit. God molded a flesh out of the dust of the earth and breath in the soul wrapped with spirit into the body and the body became a living being. There is just one spirit which God released for human soul and it is known as the human spirit. We have just one human soul and one human spirit for all human beings.

Creation of Human Being

“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:26-27  

This scripture described three things that God created to produce a living soul. It says “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” The first He created was man, then He created him and thirdly, He created them.

The man He created first is the spirit known as the spirit man, then following that He created him which is the soul man. Both the Spirit man from God and the human soul has the image of God. Then the third He made was them which is the two different physical bodies for the soul.

God is Spirit and his image is about being everlasting. Human soul and human spirit both has the image of God because they will be ever living. God has no physical structure so the image of God should not be a physical semblance, but His existential attribute. The human body is a physical structure and is not the image of God because God’s image is not a structure.

When God speaks to us, He speaks either to our spirit, our soul or our flesh. These three things have distinct personality from each other and God always addresses them individually. For example, in Genesis 3:19 God spoke specifically to the flesh which was made out of the dust of the earth. The Spirit in humans will not go back to the dust because it was taken from the dust. The human spirit will return to God who made it (Ecc. 12:7). The soul of humans will not go back to the dust because it was not made from the dust. Human soul has two destinations; it is either the kingdom of God which is a new world of peace and prosperity or outside the kingdom of God which is another world with a hellfire condition. What will return to dust from which it was made is the human flesh (body).

 The Human Nature (Spirit, Soul and Body)

The human soul and spirit is the Man. The same spirit and the same soul named Adam was what God took and put inside the female body He molded which Adam called woman and later named Eve. Adam and Eve has one and the same soul and spirit and are both Man. Adam and Eve are one soul and has the same spirit but different body types. Human soul and spirit which is Man does not have gender or sex. Their difference is only in their body which is for reproduction purpose.

Male and female body of humans including their skeletons differs only in regards to the parts and organs used in reproduction. The only differences you can find between a human male and the female is in their body organs and parts used for reproduction. By the nature of their soul and spirit, Adam and Eve are both man, but by the nature of their bodies, Adam the male body is also called man while Eve the female body is called woman. The physical man Adam is completely different from the Man which is the soul and the spirit. The physical man is a gender while the Man which is the soul and the spirit does not have gender.

The soul and the spirit is called Man and has no other name because he is gender neutral. The name Adam was given to the physical body which God molded from the dust of the earth and not to the Man He created in his image and likeness. It was also the female physical body that Adam saw and called a woman. Adam did not see the Man inside the female body.

 “And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Genesis 2:23.

Adams reference was only to the bone and the flesh. He said nothing about the soul and the spirit in the female body. He named the female physical structure and not the Man inside the female body. The same Man in Adam the male body is also in Eve the female body and Man does not have a name because he is one in all human beings.

 Human Identity:

God relates to humans based on their spiritual identity and humans has only one spiritual identity because they all have one and the same spirit which multiplies in every birth by what science through partial knowledge calls cloning. The noun used for all spirit is ‘he’ and this does not mean they are males.

Spirits do not have genders and do not produce or reproduce through biological methods. Only one noun is used for spirits. The noun used for spirits is ‘HE’ which is the same noun we use on earth for human male genders. The noun HE does not have the same meaning for the spirits and for humans.

Among humans the noun ‘he’ refers to the human male body while using HE for spirits does not mean they are males since they do not have genders. The reason the noun ‘he’ is used for spirits cannot be far from the fact that human male body was the first to be made. The human male body existed first before the human female body was made. The human spirit first received the male body before the female body was also made for him. So, the word ‘man’ and the noun ‘he’ may actual mean ‘first’ while the word ‘woman’ and the noun ‘she’ may mean ‘after the first’ or ‘following the first.’

Humans are children of God because they have the spiritual image and likeness of God. The Spirit God gave to man (the soul) possesses so much aspect of God and whatever that possesses so much aspect of God is a child of God. All spirits are from God, but not everything that has spirit is a child of God. Things like animals, trees and the material world, all have their own spirits which is also from God, but they are not the children of God because they don’t have much aspect of God compared to humans. Spirits are sons of God and for this reason, all humans are referred to as sons of God because we have God’s Spirit in us.

As sons of God, we are one household and are brethren which also is just one word for all like the noun ‘he’. As sons and daughters of men we are brothers and sisters, two different words which makes reference to the sex or gender of our physical body. Jesus called his disciples brethren while instructing Mary Magdalene to bring the message of his resurrection to them. The disciples included men and women who walked with Jesus. Jesus called them my brethren and not brothers and sisters because we are all one man and kind to God.

 Human Age:

Man and woman are the same one soul and one spirit, but in two different bodies. No one is older than the other, but only their physical body is what differs in structure and in age because they were made in different shapes and at different times. Adam as a soul was not older than the soul Eve because both are one soul created at the same time. All human souls are one and the same age.

The age of any human being is calculated as the age of his/her body and not the age of his/her spirit or soul. The age of Humans is calculated from the day and time they are delivery from the womb and not even from the time of their conception in the womb. The spirit and the soul of all human beings are the same nature and the same age. This is why we are all equal before God. In God’s eyes, we are just one soul type and one spirit type – one kind of man and flesh. The age difference among humans is the age of their physical bodies.  

Adam and Eve as one and the same soul is he in spirit, but in the body, Eve is a she while Adam is a he. We are all sons of God because we all have the same human spirit and God is the Father of the spirit of all the flesh for which He alone is our Spiritual Father.

God is not the Father of the flesh, but the Father of the spirit of all the flesh. Human beings are the father of the flesh which is the reason we can have sons and daughters. God has only sons because he made just one soul and one spirit for all humans which are neither a male nor a female. God does not have sons and daughters. There is one human soul and one human spirit for all the human bodies we have on earth.

We can see other instances in the scripture where God placed one and same spirit into different human bodies.

(i) “So the LORD said to Moses: “Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you. Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone……………………………………………………………………………………………………..So Moses went out and told the people the words of the LORD, and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle. Then the LORD came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied, although they never did so again. But two men had remained in the camp: the name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them. Now they were among those listed, but who had not gone out to the tabernacle; yet they prophesied in the camp.” (Numbers 11:16-17, 24-26). 

When God wanted to commission 70 elders of Israel to assist Moses in his leadership functions, He did not give them a fresh spirit. He took the Spirit that was upon Moses and placed the same upon the 70 elders. Here the bible constantly referred to the Spirit as singular which means the Spirit is one and same.

(ii) When Elijah was to be retired from his ministry services, God transferred the Spirit that was on him into Elisha. The same Spirit continued the work but using a different body (1Kings 19:4, 15-21, 2Kings 2:1-15). The same Spirit came back again as John the Baptist to fulfill the prophecy about the revelation of the Christ. The spirit inside John the Baptist was actually older than the body of John the Baptist.

Jesus irked the Jews by telling them that he was before Abraham when he was not yet up to 50 years old. The Jews were considering the age of the body of Jesus while Jesus was referring to the age of the Spirit in him. Abraham lived thousands of years before Jesus was born, but the Spirit in Jesus superintended the creation of Abraham’s spirit, soul and body (mankind).

(iii)“So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” (John 20:21-22).

When Jesus appeared to the disciples after resurrection, he breathed in them the Holy Ghost. First, he did not breath in them one by one, but only one breath gave all the same Spirit. Secondly, they all received one and same Spirit at once even as they were males and females. The same Holy Spirit entered all at the same time and all of them became the sons of God. The males did not receive a male spirit and the females did not receive a female spirit. If one thousand people comprising of males, females and children are to be filled with the Holy Spirit, they all will be filled with the same Holy Spirit. There is no male, female, teenager, youth or infant Spirit.

God did not create men, He created Man, a single Soul and a single Spirit. That is the reason all human beings all referred to as sons of God. All the diversities we have in our physical features are for our earthly life, to fulfill our earthly purpose. Those who are given the male body has specific roles to fulfill with the body while those who received the female body has also specific roles to fulfill with their body. Changing your body will not make you a lesser or a higher being. The major problem with changing your body is that you may not be able to fulfill the purpose for which that particular body and features was given to you. Everyone will give account to God for what they used the body given to them to do (Romans 14:12, Hebrews 4:11-13).

 Sons & Daughters of Men:

According to our physical nature, we have two body types namely the male and the female body, but we are one and the same soul and spirit. In reference to our physical nature, we are called the sons and daughters of men. Our males are called the sons of men while our females are called the daughters of men. The nature of our body is different from the nature of our soul and spirit. So, spiritually we are all sons of God by the nature of our spirit, but physically, we are sons and daughters of men according to the two different body sexes we have.

There is nothing like the daughters of God. All humans are referred to as the sons of God because of their spiritual nature and not according to their physical nature. People who lacks knowledge and understanding of God’s ways, people who are carnally minded are the ones bringing gender as an issue in the things of God. We are all sons of God because we all are one and same Spirit and Soul.

You can have daughters of Zion because Zion is a nation, just as we have the daughters of Egypt, Canada, Nigeria or France. When it comes to God, the Spirit of man is one and the people of God are sons – these includes all humans both male and female, infant, young and old.

Origin of The Daughters of gods

Nations of the world and their gods have sons and daughters because they count and deal with the flesh. God does not regard the flesh. He is not the Father of all the flesh. God is the Father of the SPIRIT of all the flesh. The Spirit of human soul is one and not many, but the flesh of human soul is of two genders. There is one God, one Lord, one Spirit, one Man (mankind of Adamic nature) possessing one flesh with two types of gender.

The term, Daughters of gods does not originate from God and has absolutely nothing to do with God. It came from idolatry. The things and the ways of God are different from that of idols gods. God has only Sons which are not males, but spirits and any human being whether male or female that has the Spirit of God in him or her is a son of God.

We are called mankind because we are man with one kind of flesh having two distinct genders. We all are one soul, one Spirit of man from God, but on earth we have physical nature with two different sexes. When we die, the body is cast away to return back to the dust, the spirit will return back to God and before Him all human souls shall stand as man and therefore as sons. That we are all sons of God does not have anything to do with gender. It does not mean those of us who have female physical body are not regarded. The word “sons of God” does not refer to gender, but to our spiritual singular nature. 

It is an error to extend human social politics to the spiritual things of God thereby hindering perfect knowledge of the truth about God. The intention of the spirits that inspired those who culled the phrase “daughters of God” is to bring God into the same level of existence and operation like other gods and creatures that has sons and daughters. There is none like Jehovah whose ways and thoughts are higher and different from all other creatures. When you declare there are sons and daughters of God, you are simply making God to be the same like all other gods and humans. Jesus corrected this error in Matthew 22:29-30 NIV.

“Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.”

They will be like the Angels in heaven and Angels are called the sons of God. What we will be in heaven is exactly how God see us on earth. Since we will be like angels who are all sons of God, it confirms that we are already sons of God even while on earth. God do not see us according to our physical nature, but according to our spiritual nature because He gave birth to our Spirit.

Now I believe you understand why you are a son of God whether you have a male or a female body. Believe God’s report and be bold to accept who God said you are and not who the world wants you to be because what we are according to the flesh is temporary and will be done away with very soon and we all shall stand before God as sons.
